I'm getting really frustrated with books that don't have an ending! The writing was great, the plot and characters were developed and believable and you found yourself cheering for Ty and Mon to get together and then- BAM! The book ends but the story hasn't. If it's the author's intent to force you to buy the next in the series by doing this--HEADS UP--it only upsets a lot of your potential fans. I rated this 1 star for the non-ending and 5 stars for the part of the story that I was able to read. Averaged out to 3 stars.

2 people thrown together by the illness of a Father and friend . Very different types.
A very good read and was hard to put down.
Loved the premise of this book and the utter snark between the characters. Wonderful read.
I loved the sizzling sexual attraction between Ty Morgan and Monica Brandt! These two are going to have to learn to work together and overcome some serious obstacles along the way. This is the first novella in the trilogy so look out for sparks and fireworks.
This was an interesting book. Ty and Monica meet when Monica's dad has a stroke. Monica is afraid Ty is after he dad's money and Ty is worried that Monica isn't looking out for her dad's best interests. These two seem to have a love-hate relationship.
The sparks fly in book one of this new series between cowboy Ty and city girl Monica. When Monica's father has a stroke and asks her to leave New York and come to Las Vegas and help his closest friend Ty renovate a hotel, all she wants to do is sell. This was a great beginning to the series and you definitely feel the push and pull between both Ty and Monica, they are very attracted to each other but they're both afraid of their true feelings. This is a cliffhanger and I can't wait to read what happens to these two in the next book.

I read Hell on Heels by Victoria Vane and COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN! I love Victoria Vane's writing; her characterizations, story-lines, and prose! The tension in this story and the way the characters seem to be so different kept me guessing and wanting to know what was going to happen next. Ty and Monica definitely have differences, but the chemistry between them is off the scale. Every encounter is hot and ratchets up the tension between these two and then one or both of them run away. Monica's dad and Ty's mentor Tom was stricken with a stroke early in the story bringing Monica from NYC to Las Vegas and into Ty's world. Monica is the heir and has power of attorney. What will she do? Will Ty be able to continue down the path he started after talking to Tom before his stroke? Can't wait for parts Two and Three!
Monica Brandt has an MBA from Harvard, Ty Morgan is a former bull rider. What do they have in common? Tom Brandt, Monica’s father, who is a partner along with Ty in the Hotel Rodeo. When Tom has a heart attack, Monica has to rush to her father’s side in order to see to his business; her fiancé Evan, who is also her boss, forbids her to go or else she loses her posh job; well, family comes first. However, when she arrives in Las Vegas, she fails to see why the hotel should be bothered with, while it is Ty’s pride and joy, and he wants to make improvements and see it brought back to its former glory. There is just one little problem, they must work together and they hate each other.

I loved everything about HELL ON HEELS, even though Monica comes off at the beginning as an ice queen, but I had problems with how Ty and Monica first dealt with their animosity, and how super sexy Ty handled the sexually frustrated Monica; it felt forced. But I adore Victoria Vane, her cowboys, her tremendous storytelling skills and her flawless writing. As long as I can get the unfortunate episode out of my head when the second instalment comes around, I’ll be happy, because the Hotel Rodeo series sounds very promising, and Victoria Vane is the author.
